@ Nikki:
That is a fascinating account of your life as a witness. Welcome to the forum!
many of you have asked about my story, so here it is.
it's a bit long lol.
however i still loved jeremy but because he wasn’t a witness i knew i could never be with him and have my family.

who makes anything of this?
we live under the same roof but separate lives so i dont.
and no flowers either as the it was two days after the last convention she went to that she noticed the last lot.. so.. incoming please..
I'm right there with you zeb. My wife and I are nothing more than roommates. But that is changing very soon...
as a witness, when you thought about jesus christ, what was the first thing that came to your mind?.
I thought of Jesus as a cool dude with a beard and a smile. Funny, because I almost used to be afraid of Jehovah.
i ask because my mother went and, of course, it was great!
what was the attendance?
how many got baptized?
Lett looks like Marshall Applewhite!
i remember whenever we had an upcoming district assembly they would usually cancel the weekly meeting so it would be about 1 week (if you didn't do field service) until you would see members from your congregation again.
and also other members from other congregations you may have attended in the past.
do you remember how some members would embrace and scream for joy whenever they came across someone they hadn't seen in a while?
“There are going to be two 45 minute symposiums BACK TO BACK?”
and
"When will it be over today? I gotta run to the store."
"be bold" circuit assembly in conyers, ga (usa) today.. average attendance was 1220...5 baptized....mid aged or olders ones, no kids.
must be near the end...the "speeding up" is slowing down?
@ loneranger:
How many were
baptized at the international convention in Atlanta?

I’m sorry to hear about the elder you knew. This organization has literally sucked the life out of untold numbers of people.

last night was the co's visit.
prior to his part, an elder had a part on following theocratic direction.
it was about our congregation being deleted (there are 2 sharing this hall) and the people and territory being divided up to the 4 other surrounding ones.. they say it is not about numbers but about making best use of resources.
My boyhood congregation is being deleted/merged. It has been in existence for at least 70+ years, if not longer.
i’ve just attended a sda church service today.
i have to say the attendance was similar to what i would expect to see in a jw service.
the style and nature of the service was also very jwish (formal, drab and boring).
There are 25,000,000 people that are in the SDA church. They’re not going anywhere anytime soon.
